Update on Navy/Sonar Case

My readers may recall a past post entitled Navy vs. Environmental Procedure where I brought up the discussion of whether there should be limits on the Naval use of sonar in the presence of marine mammals.

You may be interested to know that the U.S. Supreme Court just published their ruling on the case, and have decided in favor of the Navy 6-5.

You can read an article about it HERE.

I'm glad!!!!

(I can't believe I'm saying this) I agree with Graydon's comment on the original post, "Human life is more importent then the life of an animal" I don't think we should be killing whales without cause I do think that when any brach of Military when they are protecting us should have the ability to kill them without everyone going crazy on them! (not worded how I'm thinking it but I hope you get the idea!)
